Todd Young By Jumbo | 2012

Mitchell has a problem. He’s a little too small where it counts. The guys on the swim team have started calling him Jumbo — a cruel joke — and meanwhile he’s in love with his best friend, Luke. But when Mitchell starts receiving love letters in his locker, can they really be from Luke? Or are they from someone big enough to love him just the way he is?

"Safe Virus Scan" android app steals contact details

A new android malware masquerade as Antivirus app and steals your contact details, warns Symantec researchers. The app spreads via Spam emails.

The app perform fake scans of your Android devices. But, in background, it collects your contact data and uploads to an external site. The app is actually quite convincing and it is difficult to identify anything suspicious about it.

The app spreads via Spam emails. A link in the spam mail leads to a site that hosts the fake app.

"This is a popular method used by scammers to steal contact data in Japan. Some of the spam focuses on introducing apps throughout the whole email, while others only make a small note of the app in an otherwise unrelated email." Symantec researcher said.

" Some mention that the sender has changed email addresses so that the recipient does not feel suspicious about the email being sent from an unknown address."

According to the report, the malware is created by the same group who developed the Android Trojan horse "Enesoluty".

Yahoo! Phishing Scam: Intrusion into Your Account

A phishing email that’s designed to trick Yahoo! users into handing over their usernames and passwords is making the rounds these days.

According to reports from millersmiles.co.uk, the email reads something like this:

Service Update

Our security system has noticed an intrusion into your account, which shows that someone tried to access your email account without your permission. We have limited access to your account due to this problem. You are advised to verify your account

Thank you for helping us serve you better.

Customer Service Yahoo!

Users who fall for it and click on the link are taken to a free domain that’s been set up to host a phishing page. The webpage replicates the genuine Yahoo! login page in hopes that unsuspecting internauts will provide their login credentials.

We advise users to check the URL of a website before entering their credentials. If the “https” connection or the padlock icon are missing, it’s most likely a scam.
